What is going on guys? Now I am going to describe about building an effective th9 base. From the beginning I want to clarify one thing that there is no anti 3 star war base in clash of clans. All the bases can be 3 starred with proper attack planning and with proper troop composition. We just have to focus on building a base which may defend at least 2-3 attacks. It doesn’t matter the if the base looks weird or simple. But how it resists different attack matters. When building a base of your own just forget the fact that someone will clear your base. Rather you should concern about making a base which you think you can’t 3 star.

Defending LaLoon attacks :

If you’re trying to defend Laloon, air defences should be away from Wizard Towers, usually it’s good to have some non walkable air defences, otherwise it’s possible to do a suicide heroes or queen walk and then mass drag. If Wizard towers are too close to air defences, they will target the lava hounds instead of the baloons, that’s why you should put them away from air defences in th9 base .

Spring trap guide :

Put spring traps always directly between defences, otherwise they won’t work at their best or will sometimes not be triggered. Follow the image below.

Be creative with your trash buildings, because it can really mess up a attack if the attacker fails his funnel. Also put the trash buildings always 2 tiles away from your walls to make possible tesla farm spots.

Examples of compartment(s) that can’t be jumped or opened with earthquake in their length :¬†

Compartments like bomb tower ¬†ones are good since they limit the value, especially indicated to defend 9.5 mass valks strategy if you’re a th9 & build th9 base .
CC island is also good, but keep in mind a core like that gives easy pathing to attacks involving a small killsquad (like CB/shattered GoHo or suicide hero LaLo)
As for AQ, remember she can jump up to 4 tiles, so keep her at least 4 tiles far from the walls. In this setup, if I send a troop from dark elixir storage (which is meant to be the CC), Archer Queen won’t jump the wall, while if I put her one tile closer from the storage, and attack the same way, she might jump (note: AQ usually isn’t pulled that much over, but better prevent it while doing th9 base building).

Here is an example how to prevent loon pathing, so they don’t go to the Air Defences.

Never have directly targetable air defences.

Bomb tower should be in the path where Archer Queen will stand and shoot Hound, to prevent skeleton kills.

Never have the hidden tesla close to another. Keep 1 tile gap among them. Otherwise Baloons will take out 2 teslas at a time.

How do you choose a good CC?
To choose a good CC is really important it can fuck up an attack and make the difference between a successful attack or a fail whether the th9 base is best or better .
Let’s start with the options: most comment are hound CCs and mixes with bbds, next to that you got other air based CCs or a CC with a pekka and a wiz (base weaker against air) or a loon (base weaker against ground).

Hound CC
We choose hound CCs in bases that are weak against a valuable QW/QC (if it is a QW make sure the cc is in range of her walk) or in bases that scream for a heavy killsquad where queen can’t be suicided and CC is pretty much unlureable.
Note: NEVER use this by suici heroes.

BBD mix
BBD combined with 2 valks and a wiz
This CC is definitely the most strongest out of all. If you have a suici queen (what you should try to prevent) this is your best choice. You can always go with this CC.
BBD combined with a witch and a valk/2 wizies
With this type of cc you can’t go wrong, it’s good against more little killsquads like one that’s based on a shattered or cold blooded golem. To determine the valk or 2 wizies is easy, weak against ground = valk, weak against air = 2 wizies.
BBD combined with archers
These are good against heavy QCs where they most likely use an EQ or in bases where the CC exposed is and a lure easy is. You can again add a witch/wiz(ies)/valk. Valk – ground, wiz(ies) – air, witch – ground.

Triple BBD
Out of all is this one a risk but funny as hell. If queen can be suicided and CC is central placed will this CC be trolly. Why? This relies on that ‘easy’ queen kill and then a mass attack. Otherwise never use it!

Pekka combined with loon/wiz/archers
Like mentioned before, the troops that go with the pekka are determined how the base defends against ground or air. A pekka CC only can be used with suici heroes.
